Vertex Canvas and Self Branding

Hey guys. New stuff coming in. This time I have to design a pattern to be print/drawn on the canvas. Where each of my friends will design one pattern and combine together for the exhibition later on.
Ok. For this particular exhibition, I made a self branding card for the exhibition to be distributed. So I have two more weeks to print this out.

Well,till then.

3D Progress

Hey guys. It's been a long time I update the blog.

Ok. I have some 3D progress to show you guys. 3D is a 3-Dimensional object. Which is can rotate 360 degrees. It' a bit like cartoon that you guys see in television and movies. Such as Boboiboy, Brave, Up and much more. Ok. What I am gonna do is 2 robot that we see everyday which is Gundam and LBX (Little Battler Experience), 1 interior and 1 exterior design.
Here's what I've done so far.

Above is a Destiny Gundam. Most of anime fans will know and will see the model on display. Usually can be seen in the toys section.

For this one is an LBX Model called Odin. I seen the anime for the first time on Animax. So I challange myself to make one of the robot cause it's pure modelling. No blueprint. Just pictures and references. That's all.

Above here is my exterior design. It's a bungalow. British style. Still in progress. Need to touch up.

Well,that's it for now.

Self Branding Logo

Like all graphic designers,we have to represent our self in a form of self-branding or a card for a simpler understanding. It is a way to promote our specialty or skills in doing multimedia or design based work. This is for our portfolio or resumes as we say, own company. Plus it will help our client to evaluate how skilled we are in the corresponding field.

For me, my own company logo will served as my own identity and trademark. It will also tell others that you are a graphic designer and ready to take the task given by others that you specialize with.

For this particular self-branding, I come out with a few designs.

Here goes then...

I manage to do 3 logos for her to choose.Personally, I don't even know what I do. But my lecturer gives out a few tips to change a bit for the first logo.

So in the end, I got a good logo and a variety of colors. It's like a combination of an A and a D which is stands for Azmi Design. It's cool, eye catching and really simple. Not to shabby if I must say. So here's the final touch.

Walahhh!!

Gonna make this logo my trademark from today on. So far, so good.

Till the next time...

VERTEX Logo Design #2

Idea #3

The idea of this logo came out from this picture.
http://skryllex.wikispaces.com/file/view/Skrillex-Logo-original.jpg/295106516/600x390/Skrillex-Logo-original.jpg

Yes I know it's a Skrillex Logo. So from that, I made up a new font and logo itself. And end up having this new logo and font. I still stick to the vertex concept which is where two lines meet.

Idea #4

The idea of this logo came out when I saw my friend wear a certain kind of T-Shirt.See the picture below.

After a glance, my head started brainstorming and came up with a new logo on the spot. So it ended up with this logo. I done this logo in Illustrator and put an effect in Photoshop called Inner Bevel. And one of my favourite by the way. Hopefully it gets chosen for the exhibition.

VERTEX Logo Design #1

Here's my logo design for now. Basically it's a logo with a hidden meaning. It's a bit plain so gonna revised the design to make it more attractive later on.

1st Logo
The logo was inspired by a spider web.
http://i.istockimg.com/file_thumbview_approve/10762616/2/stock-illustration-10762616-spider-web.jpg
So I was thinking of doing a logo based on that. Because the spider web itself represents where all the lines or should I say vertex meet and join together. So i decided to make a logo out of it.
White colour - Fresh Beginning and New Development
Black colour - Mysterious yet have a sense of potential and possibility beyond the colour
The V-Shape - work together to achieve something in common and connected

2nd Logo
The logo above is inspired by this link below.

With inspiration from that, I done a logo based on Sphere and V-Shape.
Purple - to use your imagination to the fullest and imagination
Turquoise - Symbol of youth and good communication
Sphere Shape - the extent of a person's knowledge and interest

What Is Vertex?

This blog is basically for the purpose of sharing my artwork, pictures, ideas and the journey towards my graphic exhibition showcase.

I don't have any major of what I am gonna go for. Hopefully I find myself what I'm gonna do for my practical and working career after this exhibition.

And the subject name is Professional Portfolio and Design Exhibition Showcase 2012. Our task is to showcase our work to clients, public and lecturers.

I hope I can do my best to impress everyone.
